Tyron Runflat is exhibiting at Eurosatory, 13-17th June 2022, on stand #E700 in Hall 5a.
Loughborough, 9th June, 2022: On 13-17th June, Tyron Runflat will exhibit at Eurosatory 2022 on stand #E700 in Hall 5a.
On display will be Tyron’s full range of runflat solutions for on- and off-road wheeled military vehicles, including multi-piece, single-piece and MultiBand systems. Designed to keep a vehicle moving in the event of tyre strike, runflats are a critical capability to get soldiers back to base if their vehicle has been damaged by ballistic attack – even if all four tyres are flat.
Tyron’s solutions give a minimum guarantee of 50km runflat capability, and its ATP-MP is the only rubber runflat that does not require special military equipment or hydraulic press to change the tyre – offering a significant logistical advantage in the field.
At Eurosatory Tyron will introduce a new runflat solution designed to fill a market gap for military vehicles using standard wheels. They will also have on display the ATR-Carbon system, which has a carbon fibre spine in place of the ATR-MP’s metal spine. This design reduces the total runflat weight by 40 percent – making it the lightest rubber runflat on the market.
Tyron will also be discussing its complete wheel/tyre/runflat assembly incorporating the new Michelin X Force ZL16.00r20 tyre, as delivered for the UK Ministry of Defence’s Protected Mobility Engineering & Technical Support (PMETS) programme.
